Many of you will have seen just how bad the leaky roof has been over the last 12 months… We have been working hard on fundraising and can now confirm that we have been awarded a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund for the whole cost of replacing the roof!
Many thanks to the Community Fund and of course to everyone that plays the lottery without who this funding wouldn’t be available!
Work on the roof should start in June and take about three weeks. We are hoping that activities in the hall will not be interrupted but there may be less car parking than normal due to scaffolding and materials on site.
The work will be done by J & L Welch Roofing – many thanks to them for providing the most competitive quote and being patient while funding was secured.
