Pittington Community Association is holding a Jubilee event on Thursday 2nd June at Pittington Village Hall from 1-5 pm

Yvonne Vintage Vocalist, Pittington Brass band, Pittington Primary School, Durham Area Youth, Unity Choir
Displays
Local photographs and memories of the 1950s, Jubilee crafts.
Activities:
There will be a climbing wall, children’s roundabout, Musical Wurlitzer organ, Face Painting with Fantabulous Faces, Crafts with The Singing Elf – make a crown and wear it in our children’s fancy dress parade!
Refreshments
Refreshments will be Geordie Lamp Mobile Bar, Dolly’s Diner serving burgers, Yorkshire pudding wraps and hot drinks, and a Candy Floss and Donuts van.
More Information
Admission is £1 per adult and free for under 16s.
There is no parking available at the hall during this event.
Beacon Lighting
In the evening there will be a Jubilee Beacon event on the Buddle (Pittington Village Green) from 8-10pm.
There will be music from Pittington Brass band and the Beacon will be lit at about 8.45pm
Refreshments are available from Canny Pizza in Pittington Village Hall Car park
Admission is free. Everyone is advised to walk as there is no parking at the Buddle, and invited to bring picnic chair or rug.
